About Bible Bowl

Florida Bible Bowl is home to Bible quizzing leagues that use the game format and study text provided by National Bible Bowl. We play a fast-paced, Jeopardy-style team game where students dig deep into Scripture — Beginner Bible Bowl serves grades 3–5, and Teen Bible Bowl serves grades 6–12. Teams of 3–5 players practice together weekly across two seasons, Fall and Spring, preparing to compete locally within their leagues and statewide against other Florida teams. Teen teams may also choose to participate in the National Bible Bowl tournament, the culmination of each season, which brings together teams from across the country; Beginner teams may test their skills on the national level at the end of every Spring season at Main Game Event.

Florida currently has two leagues: Gulf Coast Bible Bowl, centered in the Port Charlotte-North Port-Sarasota area, and Central Florida Bible Bowl, covering the greater Orlando area. Each league holds its own local competition mid-season, and both leagues come together for a statewide competition at the end of the season. Please note: The official National Bible Bowl Teen seasons for regional leagues are split into 3 block competitions each season. Our competitions are not official competitions of National Bible Bowl, so please contact Florida Bible Bowl to find out more information about our schedule differences.
